Drawn from one source, not a fourth login
The daily view runs off the same platform as the school’s roster, calendar, and communications — not a separate messaging app a school has to stand up and keep in sync by hand. An event on the calendar and a reminder on the daily board are the same event, not two records a staffer has to update twice and occasionally forgets to match.
On-platform messaging to families and staff is part of the same picture: a message to a class, a grade, or the whole school goes out from the platform that already holds the roster, so a new family is reachable the day they enroll, without a separate contact list to maintain by hand.

Here is the honest, conditional shape of it rather than a tidy absolute: when it ships, a digest reaches only the families of a school’s own already-enrolled students, it is opt-in, and it is never an always-on, schoolwide broadcast of one student’s details. A family that does not opt in gets the public daily board like anyone else — the digest is an added, consented layer on top, not a requirement to see what the school has posted.
Until the digest ships, the honest way to get today’s announcements is the public daily board itself, and on-platform messaging for anything a school sends directly to families and staff.
